I received these two photographs from Freda Ryan (wife of Christopher Ryan(Kit)). They show Alice Ryan, sister of Christopher and Bob Ryan. Alice was the health visitor for the village and used to live at Shakespear Street and also Wordsworth Ave behind the Aged Miners Homes. The first photograph shows her at nursing school in Middlesbrough.

The second photograph shows Alice at the park.....must have been in Middlesbrough too.
